Bayfield Center Shared Use Path Improvement Project

The Bayfield Center Shared Use Path (SUP) Improvement project received a $776,392 Federal Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) Grant, and $248,678 CDOT Multimodal Transportation and Mitigation Options Fund (MMOF) grant. This project removes existing 10 ft wide x 4475 ft. long asphalt surfaced shared use path and replaces it with new 10 ft wide x 6” thick concrete surfacing and detectable warnings. Project includes stormwater management, erosion control, and traffic control.  The Board of Trustees conditionally awarded the bid to Jaynes Copropration for $1,024,540 on May 2, 2024 contigent upon the Notice to Proceed being issued by CDOT.
